This taut yet floral rosé is largely made of Chardonnay from a single vineyard called Les Blanches Terres in Coulommes-la-Montagne with a touch of still red pinot noir (vinified from a single parcel) added just before the élevage to give it that nice rose blush tint. Half of the Chardonnay was fermented in stainless steel vats with full malolactic fermentation (MLF) while the rest was vinified in oak barrels without any MLF. The final wine is then blended together with about 60% reserve wines before they were aged for at least 4 years prior to disgorgement. Base wine of vintage 2018. 4,024 bottles only.
