A single vineyard (monopole) wine from Guiberteau's historic parcel in Bizay, near to Brézé. 100% Chenin Blanc. Clay-limestone terroir with a staunch, pure chalky bedrock that gives this wine some serious zing, aromatic yellow citrus and high minerality. Native yeast fermentation in used barrels before aging sur lies in new ones for 11 months.
