A more "serious" red that the Les Moulins, Guiberteau's Domaine rouge is a blend of Cabernet Franc from three different plots where the vines were planted between 1955 and 2012. Harvested by hand and fermented naturally in concrete vats with whole berries before spending at least 10 months in a mix of stainless steel vats, conical wood barrels and small barriques. An enticing, smokey and mineral expression this red variety with sour cherries, cracked peppercorns, herbs and some fire roasted piquillo.
